What does Tony Tone Toni & Con Funk Shun have in common… ? (Other than a long string of Top 10 R&B hits?)
Well, now Master Fade Music… That’s what!
MFM is proud to announce that our lead mix engineer John Dahl Honoré recently mixed a single for Con Funk Shun‘s first new album in 30 years that features a collaboration with Tony Tone Toni and the vocals of Felton Pilate & Amar Khalil, with D’Wayne Wiggins on Guitar and Tim Riley on B3 and James Earley on bass. The album is expected to drop January 2015. The song “Once I Get In It” is a collaboration between Felton & Amar and bridges the decades to deliver a classic R&B jam with today’s production. MFM & John Honoré are honored to have been selected as the go-to mixing house to unite the sound of two R&B & Funk legends.
